Ramgarh: Coin worth Rs 9.5 lakh is lost from the Marar Bank of India (BoI) branch under the KUJU police station here.
Bank authorities have filed a written complaint with the police in connection with the missing coins.
Awdhesh Kumar, was responsible for the KUJU police station said, “We have registered FIR based on the written complaint submitted by the Bank’s authority and the investigation is on.
The coin is missing from the bank box and several bank employees are under the scanner.” According to the Bank’s records, coins worth of banks, coins worth RS 18.92 Lakh was stored in a box but during the calculation, Re 1 coin to rs of 10 denominations of Rs 9.5 lakh was found missing.
