Ranchi: To ensure the availability of functional ventilators in state-managed health care centers, the State Health Department has requested the details of all their ventilators and conditions from the earliest district.
The decision arose after the company, which provided technical support to the CV200 series ventilator, wrote to MD NHM Jharkhand (Umashankar Singh) to direct all complaints to them so that they could handle them the earliest.
The CV200 series ventilator has been produced by PSU, Bharat Electricals Limited, and has been distributed by the center to various countries.
According to the records of the State Health Department, a total of 225 ventilators were available for Jharkhand from the center, which was 200 functional and 25 was dead.
This ventilator has been given to various districts and medical colleges throughout the state.
Singh has directed all civil surgeons, the head of medical officer and medical supervisors at the Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi to register incorrect ventilator complaints with the right technology support so that the earliest functional can be made.
When contacted, Singh said: “We have received more than 250 ventilators from the Indian government and we try to ensure that all the ventilators are in ready-made conditions.
I have directed all civil surgeons to provide service providers with ventilators, along with places and Contact people, so it can be attended earlier.
