Ranchi: The State Health Department plans to drive a random mask inspection and maintain strict vigilance in areas that tend to record high feet of Pandal-Hopper during Puja Durga next week to prevent the surge in Covid-19 cases during and after the celebration season.
The department has also planned extensive migrant playback at all entry points and out of the country.
Although the state government has banned the church and pandal hopping this year, the Ministry of Health officials seem to be afraid of a large crowd in the pandal.
Speaking with Toi, the Epidemiology of the State Dr.
Praveen Karang said, “We almost complete our protocol for future celebration seasons and they will sync with instructions received from the Ministry of Health Union.
We will be very careful because the next 100 days will be critical And the district has been asked to maintain constant vigilance to prevent the spread of further viruses.
“A senior senior state healthy official said that if anyone was found to violate the appropriate behavior of Covid during the drive check, he would be punished.
As a precautionary measure, testing capacity at all entry points has been intensified as migration is expected to rise during the celebration period.
The department has deployed cellular testing vans and static centers at all major intersections such as Tatanagar, Ranchi, Chakradharpur, Bokaro and Dhanbad train station to filter passengers entering the country.
“At present, we receive around 3,500 samples every day from these centers and are expected to increase in the days to come.
Even testing at the airport and those who enter the country through the road are also being carried out,” an official said.
Asked whether the country would allow any trial during the Puja, Dr.
Kentar said that the order of the July Disaster Management Department would be implemented in Jharkhand.
“At best, the regional government can allow a small number of people to gather but it will only be done by remembering government government guidelines that state that regions with the level of leisure of less than 5% can have a small meeting,” he added.
According to direction by the Ministry of Health of the Union, the district with a 10% lifespan level of 10% or more in the range of seven days and with a 60% occupancy in the hospital, either it is supported by oxygen or in an intensive care unit, it is necessary to uphold the control measures Covid.
Countries have been directed to enforce restrictions for at least 14 days in districts that cross the threshold limit during the celebration season.
