RANCHI: The Jharkhand government on Tuesday expanded the lockdown-like constraints till June 10 with some relaxations, an official said.
Here is actually the fourth time the the constraints, first levied on April 22 for a week, were so not extended.
The continuing measures were first scheduled to finish on June 3.
“The Health Safety Week currently stands extended before June 10.
Some relaxations are given, for example, introduction of stores in 15 districts from 6am to 2pm with specific states,” the official stated.
From the remaining two districts, such as state capital Ranchi, Jamshedpur, Hazaribag and Dhanbad, that are seeing a large number of deaths, even stores besides clothing, shoes and jewelry are permitted, the official added.
Norms for traveling also have been relaxed and electronic – moves wouldn’t be needed for inter-district motion, ” the official stated.
The decision had been made in an assembly of the State Disaster Management Authority, chaired by Chief Minister Hemant Soren.
