Ranchi: Head of State BJP Deepak Prakash on Thursday night alleged that the Jharkhand government had tried to cover his failure by accusing the union government not distributing the right funds to run the social welfare scheme here.
Prakash held a press meeting at the BJP state headquarters at night and claimed that the Government of Narendra Modi has provided Rs 107.67 Lakh Crore to Jharkhand between 2019 and 2022 (including transfers and grants) but the government led by Hemant is poorly managing funds and fails to use the money used.
“For two years now, the state government has complained that it does not get the necessary funds from the center.
Conversely, the center has provided more funds to the government today than those carried out by the BJP government before,” Prakash said.
Between 2014 and 2019, the center gave a crore RS 135,010 lakh to the state in the grant and transfer, BJP claimed.
Prakash further accused the state government not distributing the edibles provided by the center in 2020 and 2021 and let them rot in the warehouse.
“A total of 16.14 lakh metric tons between April and October 2020 and between November 2020 and May 2021, around 1,776 metric tons of edibles were given to the state for more than 1 lakh migrant worker.
But the state government was negligent and the Jharkhand people went to bed.
It is the failure of the state government that nine countries are still very backward, “said Prakash.
Prakash also accused that the state government was reluctant to take the central social welfare scheme such as Surakha Yojana PM, Atal Pension Yojana, Mudra Yojana, Jan Dhan Yojana to Massa.
Until late afternoon, JMM did not respond to the accusations of Prakash while the Congress party called claims in garbage.
