Ranchi: The state department of state government, medical education and family welfare have emphasized providing benefits under Ayushman Bharat – Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-Pmjay) to those who may need hospitalization for Covid-19 treatment.

“The AB-Pmjay Empalanel Hospital in Jharkhand is under the impression that the Covid-19 treatment package is not included in the scheme.
Therefore, many beneficiaries cannot use the scheme and have to pay from their pockets,” said senior officials at the State Department of Health , In accordance with the union government dashboard, Jharkhand has 35.14 families of the lakh as an AB-PMJAY beneficiary registered and 766 hospitals confirm in all states.
The central dash claim that 486 beneficiaries took advantage of the Covid-19 treatment package between March and July 31 last year.
