Ranchi: Chairman of the Minister of Hemant Soren on Thursday instructed health officials concerned to ensure 100% vaccination coverage in the state on January 20 next year.
The revised deadline was reported to be determined because it became close that Jharkhand was most likely to meet the central target meeting 100% vaccination coverage on December 25 this year.

The health department official also told Sungen that Jharkhand had 23,601 covid beds for adult patients.
From them, 14,863 is oxygen supported while 8,738 is normal.

In addition to adults, there are almost 1,800 beds equipped with oxygen for children, 1,147 ICU beds and 234 ventilators.
The department also informs CM that 80 medical oxygen production plants currently function throughout the interim state will be operational on January 25 next year.
Then, Soren asked officials to increase passenger screenings entering the train station, Bus Stand and Birsa Munda Ranchi International Airport.
