Ranchi: Jharkhand Rustic Health Mission in relation to JITM Skills based in Delhi Pvt Ltd launched five cellular RT-PCR test laboratories in the state on Saturday.
Additional Chief Secretary (Health0 Arun Kumar Singh marks a cellular laboratory to be deployed in five districts – Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Dhanbad, Palamu and Hazaribag – because of the higher level of peposititivity or more population density in the region.
Mobile laboratories, approved by ICMR and The National Accreditation Board for the Laboratory, has the capacity to test 1,000-1,500 samples per day.
The cellular lab will cover an area within a radius of 35 km from the district headquarters and also a test sample collected from areas far from five districts.
Singh said that until March 14 years Then, there are no facilities to test Covid-19 in the country but with joint efforts almost every district is now equipped with RT-PCR testing facilities or truenat.
“We have tested a sample of 1.06 crores until July 16, where 37, 42 Lakh tests are carried out on RT-PCR while 57.23 samples are tested on an antigen test kit that is fast, “he added.
National Health MIS Director of Sion Uma Shankar Singh said that the state has adopted a testing strategy, tracking, isolation, treatment, and vaccination with Covid detention.
“The cellular laboratory will then increase the capacity of the state to test more samples.
Until now, the government has eight Laboratories and RT-PCR efforts are made to complete 16 regencies left with similar testing facilities,” he said.
