Jharkhand Misses Alt Energy Target: Data

Ranchhand: Jharkhand has become a habit of fulfilling the obligation to purchase renewable energy (RPO) as mandated by the center to achieve an ambitious dream of the power of 175gw through renewable sources in 2022.
RPO is a mechanism that includes readings, open access consumers and power captive manufacturers, mandatory Buy certain electrical percentages of renewable energy sources, as a percentage of total electricity consumption.
RPO is categorized as the sun and non-solar.
With the aim of reaching the target of 175 of the renewable energy in 2022, including solar energy capacity of 100 GW, the Ministry of Strength (MOP) has notified the RPO trajectory target until 2022 for all states and trade union states.
Obligations for Jharkhand, beginning of 2010-11, for fixed renewable power at 2% of the net energy consumption of 16,443.84 million units at that time.
Of these 2%, the separation category is 0.25% -Corresponding to 41.11 million units and 1.75% of non-solars that are in accordance with 287.77MMU repaired.
Although not a single unit of solar power is purchased resulting in a lack of liabilities 41.11mu, in the non-solar category 46.88 MU power purchased shows shortages of 240.89MMU in 2010-11.
The short autumn trend continues throughout.
In 2016-17, solar and non-solar obligations were set at 1.80% in accordance with 370.88 MU and 3.50% according to each of them with 721.16.
For comparison, achievements are 98.15 MU and 120.30 MU in these two categories each shows the overall lack of 873.59MMU.
The achievement deteriorated further in 2017-18, when solar and non-solar obligations were set at 3.75% and 4% of each clean consumption in accordance with 290.96 MU and 310.35 MU and not one unit bought in the category Collective which results in collective deficiency of all 601.31 MU.
The Jharkhand Electricity Regulatory Commission (JSERC) told JSERC (the obligation to purchase renewable energy and its compliance) (first amendment) of the regulation, 2021 on January 21 this year thus corrected the annual target for RPO.
Under new notifications, the total liability is 21% divided into 10.50% of solar and non-solar power must be included in 2021-22.
This must be increased to 23% in 2022-23 and further becomes 25% of clean energy consumption by 2023-24.
Jharkhand Renewable Energy Energy Development Agency (Jreda) is the state body mandated to achieve the target given and submit a quarterly compliance report to the Commission.
Until now, the Commission lied without chairman, secretary or member as a result of where the agency was not sure where to submit a compliance report.
Director of Jreda Project Bijay Kumar Sinha said this agency worked on three types of projects to utilize the top solar power, roof on government buildings and the installation of solar-powered water pumps in the field of farmers.
“Solar Canal-Top 2MW, a 3MW solar factory for the airport and a 150mW floating panel solar plant by SECI is in the pipeline while around 23mW collective roof networks connected solar power plants in government buildings, around 16 MW of off-grid plants in Deoghar and While and around 2MW roof plants in private buildings have been assigned, “he said.
