For many people at Jharkhand hoping to go Pandal-Hopping Durga Puja after Covid robbed them from last year’s occasion, the restrictions on the state government in enthusiasts came as a disappointment.
But with hotels in all visitors to the widening reception, he has offered a window of opportunity for some people to maximize the festival period.
Thanks to the ban, the purpose of a holiday that stands out throughout the Jharkhand prepares to rush during Puja Durga, is scheduled next week.
Travel destinations such as Netarhat and Betla, have seen uptick on visitors in recent months, ready for more businesses in the coming days.
“We could not visit Pandal last year, we also could not vacation because of travel restrictions and quarantine protocols.
But this year, after the government once again forbade the entry of worshipers to the pandal, I decided to bring my family to vacation in Betla and Netarhat,” said Lalpur Resident Arindam Moitra.
He was fortunate to have made a three-week order in advance unlike Sumit Das from Tharpakhna.
“A few days back I tried to book a room at the Jharkhand Tourism Development Corporation (JTDC) hotel at Netarhat.
But there are no rooms available,” said the waters who now plan to take their families on a short drive to Mandarman in West Bengal.
“Reservations at our hotel we opened 90 days earlier Wednesday.
“Even our hotel in Patrat is really occupied next week,” he said.
“This year, Netarhat has witnessed many visitors even during the lean season because all rooms are fully occupied over the weekend,” added Prasad.
A JTDC official said while Betla and Netarhat were packaged, poor destinations such as Itkhori and Tuughat were expected to witness a surge in order after Navratri ended.
