Rally was taken to demand the reopening of the Chinnamazastic temple and other leading places such as Baidyanath Dham at Deoghar and Bukuninath temples in Deoghar for worshipers.
Protesters consist of BJP officials, priests from Chinnamastika Temple and vendors who sell puja goods and memorabilia outside the temple, among others.
They are scheduled to close 70km on foot and reach Ranchi on Thursday.
In Ranchi, they will meet the Governor of Ramesh Bais to raise their requests.
“The state government must immediately reopen the temples that stand out, taking into account the people’s religious sentiment.
Our agitation will intensify if the government does not pay attention to our demands,” said BJP Youth Wing official Rajiv Jaiswal.
Santosh Tiwari, a gol citizen in Ramgarh, said, “If the government can allow shopping centers, cinema and bazaar bazaar to be reopened, then why can’t it reopen the temples? Thousands of people depend on the temple to make a living.
Where they will Go? “Ajay Panda, a senior priest at the Chinnamazastika Temple, said,” Nearly 1,000 vendors have become unemployed because of the Kuncian.
It is difficult for the temple management committee to manage worshipers, which switch in hundreds and offer their prayers outside the temple gate closed.
