Ranchi: With 12 deaths in the last 24 hours and 10 deaths again on Thursday, Jharkhand has reported the highest death within 48 hours so far during the ongoing third wave on Wednesday night.

In the last 24 hours, the State Health Department tested 65,047 samples and active Kaseload standing at 28,586 where 27,926 were in house isolation because they did not show symptoms.
Of the 660 symptomatic cases, eight are in the ventilator, 51 on the ICU and 252 on oxygen support.
