Ranchi: Jharkhand reported 39 new Covid-19 cases in the last 24 hours, which pushed the calculation of 3.47.022, the Bulletin Health Department said on Wednesday.
The victim of Covid-19 rose to 5.125 in the state with one new death because of the transmission of Bokaro in the last 24 hours, he said.
Of the 39 new cases, Bokaro reported nine cases followed by four cases each ofoghar, Ramgarh and Ranchi each and three cases from East Singhbhum and West Singhbhum.
There are no new Covid-19 cases reported from Garhwa, Giridih, Jamtara, Khunti, Tattoo, Paku, Palamu and Sahebganj.
Jharkhand now has 247 Covid-19 cases active, while 3,41,650 patients have recovered from the disease including 37 for the past 24 hours, said Bulletin.
The mortality rate in the state remains 1.47 percent, higher than the national average of 1.30 percent.
The level of recovery of Covid-19 in the state has increased to 98.45 percent, better than the national average of 97.30 percent.
Overall, 1,14,33,351 samples were tested for Covid-19 in Jharkhand, including 60,461 since Tuesday, he added.
