RaAnchi: The third wave now in the trend decreases with gradual and successive decline in active cases in the past week.
Of the 25,578 active cases reported on January 20, the figure reached 13,908 active cases on January 26 which showed fewer few new cases than those declared recovered.
The active case fell sharply in Ranchi too.
On Thursday, by opposing 108 new cases, there were 1,361 recovered without victims, reducing the number of active cases in the district to 4,805.
Similar trends were observed even on Wednesday when there were 1,401 recovery of 289 new cases.
During the previous week, 2,449 new cases were reported on January 20, while only 1,009 new cases were reported on January 26.
In contrast, the average number of daily recovery of around 3,000 – maximum 4,283 was reported on January 20 and a minimum of 2.921 reported on January 26.
Although a decrease in new active case trends and the increase in the amount of recovery has been effectively reducing the peak of the graph, death in the country remains almost static with an average of a little more than eight days.
During the week starting January 20, 61 victims had been reported from various parts of the country.
According to the Covid Bulletin released by the State Health Department on Wednesday night, there were 13,908 active cases in the state with 1,009 new cases, 2,921 recovery and five victims.
Two deaths reported from East Singhbhum took the victim to 1,112 – the second highest in the state while one death was reported from Bokaro, Dhanbad and Seryla.
Because of the plague of pandemic, 4,24,337 people had been infected 4.05,143 which recovered and 5,286 had given up on the deadly virus.
