Ranchi: About five dozen members of Shiv Sena on Wednesday night protested Lynching’s alleged 18-year-old boy during Idol Immersion on Sunday.
Protesters demand compensation, government work to the next relatives of the deceased and to conduct trials in the fast track field for quick justice for criminals.
On Sunday night, two community clashes in Dulmaha Village along the NH-2, about 15 km from the Barmi police station after the 18-year-old boy, identified as Rupesh Kumar Pandey, was killed during soaking Idol Saraswati.
Speaking with Toi, Mahanagar Pramukh from Vidyarthi Sena, Ronit Kumar, said: “Morhabadi street vendors were asked to close their shops and all the perpetrators involved in the shootout at Morhabadi were arrested within four days.

Hazaribag SP Manoj Ratan Chothe also confirmed that the four people involved in the attack were arrested and investigations.
