JAMSHEDPUR: Minister of Health Banna Gupta on Wednesday inaugurated the pressure adsorption oxygen factory (PSA) at the Mahatma Gandhi Memorial Medical College and Hospital (MGM) and at the Sub-Division Hospital, Ghatshila through video conferencing.
Assigned in 50 days, PSA, which is an oxygen-making facility, in the MGM Hospital with a capacity of 500-bed has a capacity of 600LT / minute (LPM), the hospital authority said.
“PSA facilities are additional support for hospitals next to a liquid oxygen plant, which has a capacity of 13 kiloliters and has been operating since last year,” said Deputy MGM Nakul Choudhary.
He added that the new oxygen making facilities would make a hospital independent.
