Ranchi: Jharkhand will receive rain spread in the next four days, the Ranchi office of the Indian Meteorology Department (IMD) said on Sunday.
“The low pressure system has developed in West Bengal and northeast “Because of this, the country will receive rainfall spread in the next four days,” he added.
IMD Ranchi said the intensity of rain during Jharkhand is likely to increase from July 16 and so on due to the shift of the monsun trough of the state.
As on Sundays, the trough ran from Rajasthan Barat to South Chhattisgarh and so on to the north coast of Andhra Pradesh.
The state has received rain 344mm since June 1.
12 of the 24 districts have received rain surplus.
Lohardaga receives excessive rain 91mm, the highest in the state.
As many as four districts – Chatra, Gumla, Seraiiki-Kharsawan and West Singhbhum – are lack of rainfall, where Gumla with 28% negative departure is the poorest in terms of reception of rainfall.
Meanwhile, Ranchi remained cloudy since Sunday morning.
In accordance with IMD rainfall data, state capital receives 5.2mm until Sunday night.
