Ranchi: The state government plans to spread spos women (special police officers) at the village level and Panchayat to curb human trafficking in Jharkhand, Minister of Hemant Soren’s chairman said on Sunday.
Hemant made a statement while overcoming a virtual seminar on orphans and a way to protect them, organized by Jharkhand State Legal Service Authority (Jhalsa).
He said, “The state government is serious to overcome the problem of human trafficking and is committed to the right orphaned rehabilitation.” He added that they were working on plans to rehabilitate Covid orphans in their living areas by identifying local communities, such as widows / widows, who can take care of them.
“According to our initial plan, we plan to hand over children like that to widows / widows, who live in the same village with orphans, with one child and can take care of others.
