Jaipur: The day after police Jhunjhunu arrested a 31-year-old government principal for allegedly raping a Standard VII girl, the police arrested two female teachers because of their alleged involvement in the destruction of evidence.
The police said that the girl told two female teachers posted in the same school.

On Saturday, Jhunjhunu collector and police supervisor (SP) both visited the school and also met the girl.
“Both teachers have learned about this problem on October 9 themselves.
We have arrested the principal on Friday morning and then arrested a female teacher too,” said the SP district, Manish Tripathi.
The source said they also investigated the allegations that the teachers had intimidated the girl.
“Initial investigations showed that the principal harassed the girl and sent her message.

Meanwhile, the principal was arrested on Friday after FIR was submitted against him at the local police station.
The police claimed that the defendant introduced his students on October 5 and threatened him not to talk about this problem.
The Head of the CWC District (Child Welfare Committee), Archana Choudhary, said that as soon as the CWC learned about this case, they sent a team to provide counseling to the girl and warned of a senior police officer Jhunjhunu.
Assistant Director, Child Rights, Priya Choudhary said that the girl and her family were afraid to go to the police station.
“The girl saw child number 1098 in his textbook and told the incident.
Quick action was taken and two members of the female council visited him,” he said.
