Jiada serves notifications to 40 companies because they don’t start ops

Bokaro: The authority of the development of the Jharkhand Industrial Area (JIAADA) has begun to identify industrial units that have not become functional even after getting land for the purpose a few years ago.
Shree’s Kriti, Regional Director of Jiada (Bokaro Region) said, “We have served a notification to 40 companies like that asking them to start operations within 15 days or clarify their stations not to start operations.” According to Shree, who is the first full director of Jiada (Bokaro region), this region is one of the most investor-friendly goals.
In recent years, this region faces a land crisis and to solve problems instantly, Jiada’s management has begun the process to identify and cancel the land allocated for industry but does not work for years to have them.
Shree said the steps were taken to utilize the maximum resources available to regulate new projects and bring investments that would help produce work.
There are many entrepreneurs and companies, who have shown interest in preparing efforts in the Bokaro Jiada region consisting of Bokaro, Giridih and Dhanbad.
The area, which was previously known as the Banga, was formed in 1974 and played an important role in the development of the state industry.
There were 1,470.59 hectares of land acquired by Jiada and allocated for around 700 industries.
Sources say around 160 companies are closed for various reasons or have not appeared after taking land.
There are many companies that have not even built their boundary walls, starting construction work, not paying installments or contributions that are cleaned while many are retarded.
The Baldih Industrial Area of ​​Jiada Hosts 347 Industry, around 120 additional units of illness after not receiving orders from Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL).
