‘Jitiya’ can hit a female voter in Darbhanga

Darbhanga: The second phase of Panchayat polls is scheduled for September 29 in two regency blocks – Benipur and Alinagar – can witness the addition of low women’s voters because of ‘Jitiya Vrat’ which will begin on September 28 and end at 5.04 PM on September 29.
According to Ramchandra Jha, the former head of the Astrology Department at the University of Kameshwar Singh Darbhanga based in Darbhanga, fasting without water intake will begin after sunrise on Tuesday and broken quickly will take place after 5.04 afternoon on Wednesday.

A female candidate for Mukhiya in Block Benipur said the State Election Commission must compile a way to bring fasting women to the polling booth.
