SRINAGAR: Terrorists shot dead a BJP councillor from the Tral area of Pulwama district in Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, officials Mentioned.
The militants opened fire Rakesh Pandit in his house in the night, he said.
Pandit was rushed to a hospital in which he expired, the officers stated.
They said a girl – whose identity continues to be discovered – also sustained injuries in the shooting by militants.
