NEW DELHI: Even the PM’s strategy to get an interview with political parties out of J&K on Thursday might have begun speculation about important concessions into the Valley but it could be still a while before their anticipated needs – holding of surveys to put in an elected administration and recovery of statehood – could be fulfilled.
Forthe government heads of the 20 districts at UT might take another one or 2 weeks to send complete information sought from the Delimitation Commission concerning the bodily attributes, demographic routine and administrative struggles of their individual districts.
Resources said this info is imperative to the commission because the upgraded nomadic headcount of those districts will be needed for delineating’booked’ constituencies.
Though delimitation is going to be determined by the 2011 Census, the delimitation panel typically seeks updated info from districts.
