Srinagar: Kashmir Party and Kashmir Apni (JKAP) Altaf Bukhari on Saturday said that his party official delegation would meet and present their point of view before the restrictions on Srinagar and Jammu on July 6, when the Commission will start four days from the United States.
The Commission has invited political parties to get their point of view of the creation of new constituencies throughout J & K.
Speaking to reporters on the sidelines of the ceremony to join the JKAP headquarters at Lal Chowk here, Bukhari said even though he had begged to hold assemblies in J & K without waiting for the settlement of the restriction process at the meeting of all parties held by PM Narendra Modi in New Delhi on June 24, the central leadership presented the original reason for this request.
“The central government believes that restrictions at J & K cannot be equated with Assam, where the process is postponed.
Maybe because of the number of seats to be upgraded at J & K.
After saying it, APNI has decided to form two delegates of its leaders in Srinagar and Jammu, who will fulfill the restriction commission with the perspective of our party throughout the process, “Bukhari added.
He said JKAP had “did his homework on all restrictions and would submit a petition before the commission on the limit adjustment and description of the level of assembly constituency, which we believe will not be pushed (to us) region against the other for political mileage”.
