Written by news2in

Ranchi: The Jharkhand High Court on Tuesday transported police Bihar and made a strong observation that a lawyer based in Ranchi, Rajneesh Vardhan, was not arrested in accordance with the law but seemed to have been “kidnapped” by the police.
The Division of Judge Soujit Narayan Prasad and Justice Ananda made observations while hearing Habeas Corpus filed by Vardhan Sweta Priyadarshini’s wife after her husband was sent off and taken by Patna Police and police station Sukhdevnagar at 10:30 a.m.
on Saturday.
The judges also questioned the Government of Bihar and Jharkhand to explain why Vardhan was taken without following the procedure stipulated in the law.
The bench also transported Ranchi police because of his help in taking Vardhan from his house in Sukhdevnagar.
In his petition, Sweta said her husband was beaten mercilessly from Police Bihar and forced him in the vehicle.
He then said even though there was a request made by him and his husband, the police did not reveal why Vardhan was taken away or in what case he was involved.
As soon as her husband was picked up, Sweta told the Advocate Association, who helped him submit a Corpus Habeas with the High Court immediately swinging.
The court then agreed to hear the petition on Tuesday even though it was closed for the ongoing Diwali-Chhat vacation.
After hearing the advice of the State of State and Bihar, the court had searched for replies from Patna and Ranchi SSP and Danapur SP (Bihar) below that the jurisdiction was arrested.
The court has also ordered the Secretary of the Jharkhand Chief to have a party in this case.
This problem will be heard again on November 25.
Meanwhile, Secretary of the Association of Advocates Navin Kumar said the police had said the procedure that must be followed when capturing someone.
“High luck is not acceptable at any cost,” Kumar added.
