Jaipur: Jaipur City corporation is bound by cash, bigger and inheritance, must wait a month to get a loan from Hudco.
According to officials, Hudco has asked to get more details from the corporation before cleaning their first check.
A senior JMC official, Greater said that Hudco asked about the progress of all ongoing projects registered in the loan file.
“We have given them a list of ongoing projects and money is needed for further development.
This is technical and we are preparing the same report.
If everything is approved, we will get a loan amount for a month,” the official said.
Toi tried to contact JMC, Major Sheel Dhabai was bigger, but the phone was turned off.
JMC, Weitage Mayor Munesh Gurjar said that they expect money will be given to the corporation before Diwali.
“It is important to get a loan or if not, we will not be able to do development work.
We have to pay contractors around Rs 30 Crore and other civil works cannot be continued due to cash crunch,” Gurjar said.
Both the corporation has apply for a loan Rs 500 Crore but at first they will be given Rs 100 to 200 crores.
With the needs and security by the state government, the number will increase.
Main civil works related to roads, gardens, street lights, garbage collection, improving community spaces and construction of the board members will only be carried out with loan assistance.
JMC, legacy and bigger contractors have twice changed because they don’t pay bills.
After the loan amount is received, the next two years will become the moratorium of the period I.E.
There is no payment of the loan amount during this period.
After that JMC, heritage and larger must pay Rs 4 Crore per month.
