JMM Bokaro Unit issued a rally looking for a quota of 75% in work for locals

Bokaro: JMM District Unit on Thursday set up a general meeting against Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL) and other public sector units in this district to demand a 75% reservation in work for refugees and locals.
Rally also demanded that PSU return the land that was not used, which was obtained to build their units in Bokaro, to the locals.
Entitled Janakrosh Rally, Rally held in Sector-4 and was attended by locals who were moved after BSL and other units, such as Bokaro thermal power plants from Damodar Valley Corporation, and heat power plants acquired their land.
Parties have submitted a 10-point request to BSL management.
JMM District President Hiralal Manjhi said, “If the company wants to run the factory, the landowner must be given a job.
If not, JMM will expel officials from the country.” City President Jmm Mantu Yadav said, “CM has announced a few months ago that the company functions In Jharkhand it must provide a 75% reservation to the locals and BSL must follow it.
” Former Gomia Mla Yogendra Mahto, who is also part of a general meeting, said that BSL management must understand that even though it is a central business, it cannot function in Jharkhand without following the rules and regulations.
