JAMSHEDPUR: Area Committee Notified Jamshedpur (JNAC) has purchased two mechanical sweeper vehicles and Fleet of 20 CNG tipers for driving cleanliness in the area of the command.
Urban local body officials (ULB) One vehicle sweeper and tipper has been delivered while the remaining vehicles will be received from each company.
“Mechanical vehicles will be launched so sanitation personnel we receive training under expert guidance on how to operate them,” said City manager JNAC Ravi Bharati.
However, CNG Tipper will operate from Monday, Bharati said.
Automatic vehicles, Dulevo 6000 Euro 6, are suction sweepers and washing machines that are suitable for roads, sightseeing and sidewalks.
Vehicles, which have the latest technology and high-quality components, have four brushes on each side assisted by hydraulics and can simplify complex manoeuvrers, the official said.
CNG Tipper, produced by Ashok Leyland, has two separate compartments for dry and wet waste and has a 1250kg load capacity.
Tipper will be used to collect garbage from door to door.
Vehicles are purchased from funds allocated by the 15th Finance Commission in Fiscal Year 2020-21.
In particular, the city of steel produces 300 plus tons of municipal waste every day.
After reaching the rank of all India in 12 in Swacha Survekshan 2021 in the 10-Lakh population category, JNAC aggressively pursued ambitious goals to reach the top five in 2022.
