New Delhi: University of Jawaharlal Nehru at the Academic Council meeting on Tuesday continued the arrangement of medical schools and Super 500 special hospitals at the University campus.
This school will offer a PhD, MDPHD, MD, MS, DM, MCH and MBBS program program with an emphasis on modern medicine that is integrated with traditional medicine and knowledge systems.
“Hospitals and medical colleges on the JNU University campus will operate in 2024, if all the agreement concerned to medical colleges and hospitals nodded on time.
The hospital will function under the School of Medical Sciences, JNU”, said the statement.

Jagadesh Kumar said that the great need was felt in JNU for this type of medical school.
Therefore, it has been decided to open medical school based on modern technology and health services.
Below, the introduction of various courses in medicine and health is being considered.
According to proposals submitted at the Academic Council meeting, medical colleges and hospitals that will be established in JNU will offer super-specialtial care including cardiology, organ transplantation, neurology and pulmonology.
The proposal for Medical College and Hospital has been prepared under the New National Education Policy and JNU ACT 1966.
Together with JNU administration, the committee that made this proposal included experts from hospitals such as AIIM and the National Institute of Neuro Science.
There is a proposal to establish medical colleges and hospitals in 25 hectares of land available in the southwestern part of the university campus.
The proposal states that the acceptance to the MBBS and MD courses will be carried out through NEET by the National Test Agency.
