NEW DELHI: The Jawaharlal Nehru University has issued show cause notices to JNUSU president Aishe Ghosh along with yet another pupil for a demonstration they held at 2018and calling it an act of”indiscipline and misconduct”.
Reacting to the note, Ghosh stated despite the closing of numerous administrative offices due to this Covid pandemic, the varsity’s main proctor’s workplace”was frequently working to bully and punish pupils”.

Professor Rajnish Kumar Mishra, main proctor of their varsity, supported the development.

Ghosh has been granted time until June 21 to respond to the note,”failing that it’ll be assumed that you’ve got nothing to say on your shield and this workplace will probably soon be free to take suitable actions against you”, it stated.
At a Facebook article, the Jawaharlal Nehru University Student’ Union president stated,”At JNU, many administrative agencies aren’t working mentioning pandemic scenario, scholarships aren’t receiving disbursed, hostel allotment for decades aren’t occurring, water catastrophe is happening at the campus, even vaccination for pupils aren’t happening.
“However, the main proctor’s office was regularly working to bully and punish pupils.”
