Chennai: The Authority of Metropolitan Development Chennai (CCDA) has decided to end the service of at least 18 employees who illegally recruited and excluded the appointment order only the day before the behavior model for TN assembly polls began on February 25.
Candidates do not have the required educational qualifications or age criteria prescribed in notifications.
The source told TII that notifications called on employees to explain why their services should not be stopped served to them on Monday.
They have been given 15 days to reply to notifications.

The written test was carried out for the position of Junior Assistant, Steno-Typist Grade III and typist, followed by a physical interview for 275 candidates chosen from 44,000 applicants.
