Jodhpur: The Railway Minister Union Ashwini Vaishnav arrived at Jodhpur on Saturday on a one-day visit.
Belonging to Jodhpur, it was Vaishnav’s first visit after assuming a cabinet bed.
In his first address at his birthplace, the minister said that he would not leave the stone missed in the development of the train in Jodhpur and assured that Jodhpur would benefit from all prailway projects related to the district.
“Prime Minister Narendra Modi has given me this responsibility and my father wants me to bring a smile on the face of each train passenger.
I will try our best to get up in the expectations of both of them,” he said while handling meetings at the Suburban Rai train station Bagh ka during the ceremony lying stones foundation for new buildings at the station.
In the address mixed in Hindi and Marwari, Vishnav said that there was a ran train proposal at a speed of 180-200 kmps in the state, where 8 stations were included and Jodhpur was one of them.
He also added that electrification works are under progress at a fast speed and will be completed in the next one and a half years.
Speaking of dedicated shipping corridors, he said that the work developed at a fast speed and Indian train had created history by running a 1.5 km double container train on the electric path in January this year.
He also dedicated various facilities at stations to city people, which included excessive legs, lifts, and new platforms.
Rai Ka Bagh Station is being developed as an additional station to reduce the load at Jodhpur’s main train station.
Before this, Vaishnav received a speech that rose in the city on his arrival at the airport.
He reached his home directly from the airport where he was greeted in a traditional way by his parents and relatives.
Some of his classmates have also reached his home to greet him.
He also visited the famous Ganesh temple at Ganesh Tekri.
