Jodhpur: In the midst of speculation the third wave of Covid, the District Administration has planned the Mega Covid vaccination program in the Jodhpur district on September 15.
About 3 lakh people will be vaccinated today at 1,000 centers in all districts, which consist of all grams of Panchayats, PHCs, CHCS hospitals and districts.
CMHO Balwant Manda informs that this mega vaccination program is for those who have not received the first dose and those who have struggled to get the second dose.
“This Mega program will cover all grams of Panchayats and we will try to reach as many people as possible with the help of public representatives and other prominent people,” Manda said.
Nodal Officer and Rcho Kaushal Dave said that the coordination meeting was held with Pradhans, Sarpanchs, Mayor, Panchs Ward, a member of the Board, a member of Panchayat Samiti and a public representative, to appeal to them to encourage people to use this drive and get vaccination.
“Everyone who wants to be vaccinated must visit one of the centers only with identity documents and cellphones to be registered in place and get shots,” Dave said.
Indrajit Singh Subdistrict judge said that this was the best opportunity for all people who were not vaccinated or were waiting for the second dose.
