WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden on Friday said the social media platform like Facebook “killed people” after the White House continued to criticize the company to allow the wrong information about the Coronavirus vaccine to be posted on the platform.
“They killed people.
Look, the only pandemic we have is among those who are not vaccinated.
And they kill people,” Biden told reporters when asked about the wrong information and what the message to Facebook.
White House Press Secretary Jen PSAKI earlier on Friday also criticized the company.
“Obviously there are steps they take.
They are private sector companies.
There are additional steps they can take.
It is clear that there are more that can be taken,” he said in the direction of the White House.
Facebook does not immediately respond to a comment request.
