LONDON: Boris Johnson’s office was unaware of evidence to support the allegations made by a senior parliamentary member who had been sought by officials to intimidate and extort politicians against the British Prime Minister, a spokesman said.
“We are not aware of the evidence to support what is clearly serious charges,” said the spokesman.
“If there is evidence to support this claim, we will see it very carefully.”
