Kalyan: Some Kalyan residents take praised initiatives to help people who lose their limbs in an accident or paralyzed from birth.
The group of cyclists named Bikeport Cycle Group began Kalyan to the cave cycle trip from Saturday to raise funds for people with disabilities.
The group has raised RS 5 Lakh and is submitted to the Rotary Club disability center, which works to rehabilitate people with disabilities by instilling artificial limbs.
Through this initiative, more than 100 people will be artificial legs.
15 cyclists on Saturday morning started their journey from the Durgadi fortress in Kalyan.
This group includes doctors, lawyers, police officers, entrepreneurs, people from Indian navy and other respectable citizens of various fields.
Nitin Suryavanshi, part of the group cyclist, said that over the past few years they cycled into other countries with social causes.
Other cyclists, Dr.
Rehnuma Ehteshamuddin said, “In the next 5 days, cyclists will travel to Goa through the sea route”.
