Finished / Alvi Jhansi: A total of fifty journalists from various media sectors issued a bicycle bike rally in Chitrakoot on Wednesday in protest against raids carried out in a number of media houses recently.
Then, they filed a memorandum aimed at the President of India to Magistrate Chitrakoot Regency, Shubrant Shukla.
Ziaul Haq, Public Relations Relations (PRO) Chitrakoot Media Club said journalists through memorandum have asked the President of India to intervene and ensure that autonomy and media freedom are maintained so that they can release their duties freely and without fear.
, The rally led by President Chitrakoot Media Club Club President, Satya Prakash Dwivedi who raised the club’s voice of club members on various government institutions that often harassed the media for criticizing the government and its policies.
“Horrible shortcomings in part of the government are none other than efforts to create media showing the truth”, Dwivedi said.
