Jreda illuminates the city of Golmuri cable with 1,650 solar led

JAMSHEDPUR: The city cable area in Golmuri, which staggered in the dark for the past 20 years, was arranged to turn on as soon as the Jharkhand Renewable Energy Development Agency (Jrrea) signed East Jamshedpur Mla Mla Saryu Rai to install 1,653 solar lights on every corner and corner in the area.
In particular, because the closure of the cable company, the entire city of the cable experienced a lack of drinking water and lack of street lights.
The urge to illuminate the area began on Wednesday with a formal program launch.
Jreda will bear the subsidy part while the remaining the cost of the installation scheme will be issued by MLA, under the local area development scheme (LAD), according to the agreement reached between the two parties.
The total project cost is Rs 2.10 Crore.
MLA has contributed Rs 85 lakh from MLA LAD funds.
Along by executing the project, Jreda will be responsible for the maintenance of the lights for the next five years.
“In Jharkhand, this is the first project like that in every assembly constituency where the urban area is covered with solar LED facilities,” Rai said when launching the project.
“This is a good initiative by MLA.
Hopefully some other areas in Jamshedpur East will be covered by solar LED street lights in the coming days,” said 43 years old, bro, a resident of Zone, Birsanagar, Telco.
“There is a need to turn on the streets because the residential area in the cable city is shaken in the old darkness,” said retired steel employee Dharmendra Rai, a resident of Golmuri.
