Ranchi: To provide a dignified livelihood to more than 20,000 tribal women involved in the sale of Hadiya (Rice Beer), Jharkhand State Liverihood Society (JSLPS) in collaboration with NGOs – Green Digital International – has launched a project to generate income.
The project, advancing the livelihood of tribal and independence (ATLA), aims to provide alternative livelihoods to women by helping them in the practice of agriculture-based information and communication technology (ICT) modern.
JSLPS Chief Executive Nancy Sahay and Head of Green Digital, Krishnan Pallasami has signed a non-financial memorandum for that purpose on Thursday.
Talking to Toi about this project, Sahay said, “In accordance with the state government to provide a dignified livelihood, we start atlas and will help more than 20,000 tribal women by involving them in agricultural-based jobs through ICT to increase their income.” In the criteria for beneficiaries that will be borne by the project, Sahay said, “All recipients of the Phulo Jhano Ashirvad scheme, and those involved in manufacturing and selling alcoholic beverages such as Hadiya, will be selected under the project.
Digital Green will provide beneficiaries with technology and equipment Latest.
“Because Atlas is a non-financial agreement, JSLPS will not pay any fees or the number of consultations to NGOs, he said.
In the role of JSLPS in the project, Sahay said they would choose beneficiaries of all states and provide training to them as required by Atlas.
“We are targeting women’s empowerment which is part of the Swadaya group (SHG) but cannot increase their income substantially.
Even the Shg members who come from the weakest economic background will be connected to the project and they can become independent,” Sahay added.
Meanwhile, Pallasami said, “We have an analysis of data on companies that need agricultural products as their raw materials and will help women in the selection of goods.
We will also help beneficiaries on plant selection under climate conditions and will connect it to the market so that the eyes Their livelihood can be improved.
