JSR men shoot in the Philippines

JAMSHEDPUR: Taranjeet Singh (35), native residents of the mango area in the steel city, was shot dead by two unknown men in Manilla in the Philippines on Sunday.
Taranjeet was shot by his attacker in his restaurant in Manilla, his family member said here.
He runs an Indian restaurant in Manilla for three years, Tarajeet’s father, Sardar Dayal Singh, said.
It is not known what caused the incident, the family claimed.
Uncle Taranjeet, Gurdeep, said the attacker had broken into the restaurant brandishing a gun.
Even though he was running out of bid to save himself, Tarajeet was chased and shot from behind by the attackers, Gurdeep said.
“We plan to approach the Ministry of Union External Affairs through the state government to bring the body of Taranjeet here for the last rite,” Gurdeep said.
