Hyderabad: Justice Satish Chandra Sharma on Monday was sworn in as chairman of the four Telangana High Court in Raj Bhavan.
The Governor of Tamilisai Soundararajan gave office oath to him in a colorful ceremony held on the courtyard of Raj Bhavan.
The event was attended by the Chief of Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao who welcomed the main justice with a bouquet of flowers.
Ministerial Score, Judge of the High Court, Judicial and Bureaucrat Officers attended their functions.
The head of the new justice, who came here on the transfer-cum-elevation of the Karnataka High Court, took his blessings from his mother, who was present at the ceremony of Raj Bhavan, immediately after taking over as chief Justice of Telangana High Court.
Then, he went to his official residence and after the formal puja moved to his new residence along with his wife and mother.
A team of advocates came far from Bengaluru to Hyderabad to witness the swear ceremony and destroyer of Sharma with traditional hats and kannadigas bouquets.
