Madison: Judge Wisconsin on Thursday ordered the liberation of a woman who was convicted of stabbing her classmates to please the lean man’s character in 2014.
Anissa Weier nineteen years old asked Judge Waukesha Michael Bohren this year to release him from the Mental Health Winnebago Institute, on the grounds He is no longer a threat to anyone.
Bohren agreed during hearing Thursday, even though he would not be released soon.
Bohren ordered the state to prepare a release plan.
He gave 60 days of state officials.
Meanwhile, Weier will return to mental health facilities.
The trial was set for September 10 and his friend Morgan Geyser lured the classmate of Payton Leutner to Waukesha Park in May 2014 after staying.
Geyser stabbed Leutner several times as Wier pushed Geyser to cause injury.
The three 12-year-old girl at the time.
Leutner barely survived his wounds.
Bohren sentenced Weier in December 2017 to 25 years in Winnebago.
Geyser serves a maximum sentence of 40 years in mental health facilities.
