LONDON: The British Prison Authority has provided the founder of Wikileaks Julian Assange permission to get married while in detention, his fiance has said, when he awaits the decision of the main court for the possibility of the US extradition.
Assange, Wanted by Washington to face various charges related to the mass leak of secret documents, plans to marry Stella Moris, a former member of the legal team who has two children.
He was detained in Belmarsh’s high security prison in London while the High Court prepared to rule in the US appeal against a lower court decision to block extradition.
