Minneapolis: The District Court court for the three former Minneapolis police officers who was charged with the death of George Floyd had been rescheduled for June 13, after the defense and prosecutor requested a delay.
Thomas Lane, J Kueng and Tou Thao face charges of helping and conspiring with murder and murder.
Their trial was supposed to start March 7, but both parties asked for a delay because the three officers also faced federal trials on charges that they violated FLLOYD civil rights while acting under the Government Authority.
Their federal trial began Thursday with the jury selection.
