Nagpur: Covid numbers for June 2021 show that the pandemic moves towards being endemic in Vidarbha.
Less than 18,000 cases were reported, although there was an increase of almost ten times in the number of tests.
The toll of death fell to 624 compared to more than 5,000 in May.
Overall, the condition was even better than before the Covid-19 wave first, which began in July 2020.
The figures received from 11 districts in Vidarbha showed an average number of daily tests of around 30,000 during June, while the average daily case burden is 575.
The average level of the average test in Vidarbha during this month is 1.91%, the lowest for any month in a pandemic.
According to WHO, the positivity test below 5% for at least two weeks is an indicator spread under control and the government must loosen limitations.
Interestingly, for most months, Vidarbha enjoys normal relaxation in the market and public places.
However, the Covid-19 case continued to decline.
Analysis of the location of new cases in the last ten days of June shows that they come from uncharge villages, and the tribal area, which means the city and cities have reached their endpoint.
The second important indicator is the residential bed.
The Vidarbha region has less than 1,800 patients in current care, which is lower than even after the first low-point wave.
Most patients recover under house isolation, so the bed is empty in almost every part of the area.
The recovery rate is 98%, the highest is the highest for any months in a pandemic.
Overall, June has given the greatest pattern for the region.
Even so, the government has imposed restrictions after the threat of Delta Plus variant.
Doctors say that restrictions need to have a logical endpoint.
“Now, people can protect themselves through vaccination.
It’s impossible.
Those who are not vaccinated can continue to work as long as they are tested at least every week.
We have a ready mechanism.
We can continue activities by wearing masks at any time,” said specialist Dr.
Nitin Shinde’s disease.
Pulmonologist Dr.
Rajesh Swarnakar quotes Singapore’s example.
“Singapore has stated that Covid will be treated like other endemic diseases such as flu.
There will be no zero transmission goals.
There is no quarantine, no Ickey test and no daily number.
I think this is the way to go.
Lockdown doesn’t work, but only Inhibiting the economy, “he said.
