June brings hope with a decrease in all covid numbers

But to see how far we have come, the June figure is eight times more than February, the lowest in the first wave
Although June saw a drastic decline in Covid cases in Bengaluru, the cases were eight times the number of cases in February 2021, which recorded the lowest Covid score in the first wave.
As many as 50,330 cumulative covid cases and 2,280 deaths were reported in June 2021.
Health experts say that the cases recede in the second wave but not suitable with the number recorded in January and February this year.

Surge began last year

However, cases began shooting in July 2020 with 52,406 cases and 962 deaths.
August has 75,514 cases and 950 deaths while the first wave peaked in September with 1,03,758 cases and 971 deaths.
Stable decrease.
Cases began to decline a little from October with 1,00,958 cases and 897 deaths.
November has 32,101 cases and 271 deaths while December has 18,551 cases and 184 deaths.
January 2021 has 10,311 cases with 66 deaths, the lowest in the first wave.
Although February has the lowest Covid case (6,813), deaths began to increase with 88 people who lost their lives.
Deadly second wave
From the following month, both cases and death rise.
March has 31,886 cases and 147 deaths and April seeing cases of shooting up to 3,38,360 and death is 1,907.
It may have the highest Covid case at 4,06,489 cases while death is 6,971.
Another trend that was seen in June was a decrease in Covid cases and deaths every week.
For example, there are 18,799 Covid cases and 1,239 deaths are reported between June 2 to 8; 11,213 cases and 186 deaths between June 9 and 15; 7,350 cases and 169 deaths between June 16 and June 22, and 5,455 cases and 103 deaths for 23 and 29 June.
Keposititivity level
The level of participants has also dropped dramatically in Bengaluru.
On May 5, the level of its participation was 38.87 percent which gradually decreased to 8.43 percent in the first week of June and fell to 1.22 percent on June 29.
However, the mortality rate has also seen fluctuations.
On May 5, the mortality rate was 1.44 percent which increased to 6.59 percent on June 6 and then decreased to 1.89 percent at the end of June.
One reason for fluctuations in high mortality rates is data reconciliation.
In the last 10 days, the Zone of RR Nagar and Bommanahalli recorded the highest level of participation (1.4 percent) while the lowest level of peposititivity was in Dasarahalli and West Zone (0.8 percent).
At the end of June, there were 44 micro detention zones with a maximum of 20 in the Mahadevapura zone and Zone RR Nagar and Dasarahalli.
Life is gone
Overall, 3,384 men and 1,782 women (over 70 years) have lost their lives for Covid while 13 boys and six girls (less than nine years) have died of Covid in Bengaluru.
Bengaluru continued to become the second city in India after Delhi both in terms of infection and total Covid death.
When June ends, there are 22 wards with less than 100 cases.
The recovery rate is now shot up to 95.11 percent.
Active cases decreased to 43,698 with 3.6 percent to active levels.
The overall level of front is 1.22 percent and the case mortality rate is 1.89 percent.
Vaccination is underway

Until June 30, Bengaluru was vaccinated (partially and full) 61.43,536 people.
The top position was bagged by Delhi (78.91,204), while Mumbai had 55.94,591 vaccine participants.
