Kolkata: ‘Jungle Raj’ applies in two places in the world, North Korea and West Bengal, State President BJP Sukanta Majumdar claimed on Monday after the leader of the Senior Trinamool Congress Abhishek Banerjee similar to Governance in Tripura, who was ruled by the Safron Party.
Majumdar also criticized TMC to sit outside the BJP State headquarters in Kolkata to protest alleged violence on its workers in Tripura and the arrest of his young wing leader, Sayani Ghosh on Sunday.
He alleged that TMC supporters tore poster and festoons from the Safron Party during Dharna.
“Jungle Raj is in West Bengal.
There are two places in the world, North Korea and West Bengal, where this applies,” said BJP leader, liked the Chairman of the Minister of Mamata Banerjee to Kim Jong-un, the country’s highest leader.
After reaching Agartala on Monday morning, Abhishek Banerjee accused that Jungle Raj was the case in Tripura under the government of Biplab Kumar Deb.
Claiming that more than 50 BJP workers were killed in West Bengal after the election of the assembly in the state, Majumdar said Mamata Banerjee had to look at his own backyard instead of Tripura.
Holding it is a police duty to defend the law and order, BJP Lok Sabha MP said, “We do not expect anything from the minister of police and the police.” Chief Minister of Banerjee holds charges at the Department of House (Police).
He said anywhere in the country a political party sitting in Dharnas outside the office of another person and BJP would never go to the office of the powerful party in West Bengal to protest.
Majumdar also emphasized that TMC MPS has set a “bad trend” by holding Dharna outside the Minister of Home Uniona Amit Shah in New Delhi demanding an urgent meeting about Tripura’s incident.
Tripura police on Sunday captured the actor amended by TMC Ghosh leader on charges of efforts to kill after he allegedly disrupted the meeting of the Head of State Minister Biplab Kumar Deb by shouting “Khela Hobe” (we will play) on Saturday night.
TMC also accused that BJP workers attacked their workers outside the police station on Agartala, where he was questioned.
As a political party, TMC is in fourth place in Tripura after BJP, CPI (M) and Congress, Majumdar claims.
“TMC took supporters from Bengal to try to make a power show (in Tripura),” BJP leader said.
In the statement of the minister’s chairman that he would take the issue of the extension of BSF’s jurisdiction during his meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi, Majumdar said the language used by several TMC leaders about “embarrassing” strength.
TMC MLA Udaya Guha, during a speech in the Assembly, recently accused several BSF personnel to touch women inappropriately in the border area on behalf of Frisking.
“If BSF removed from the border, West Bengal will be part of Bangladesh.
This is a BSF that provides security on the border so that we can sleep well in our homes,” said Majumdar.
The recent central government changed BSF’s actions to ratify the power to carry out searches, seizures, and arrests in a larger 50 km stretch, instead of 15 km, from the international border in Punjab, West Bengal and Assam.
TMC and Congress have objected to this.
Majumdar accused that “silent demographic invasion” occurred in the West Bengal Border District.
