Lucknow: Lucknow bench from the High Court of Allahabad has rejected the request to seek political asylum for the Supreme Court judge and several other officials from Afghanistan.
The bench also applies the cost of 10,000 Rs at the Applicant of Suresh Kumar Gupta, an advocate.
Ruit justice bench Raj Awasthi and Justice Abdul Moin passed the order above.
Bench said that the application could not be maintained and submitted to get cheap publicity.
The bench directs Gupta to deposit a fee within 30 days or Lucknow DM will be aware of the amount as an arrears of income.
