Just Oleg, Pavel to Remain Whole Period of Olympics with Indian shooters

NEW DELHI: Rifle trainer Oleg Mikhailov and pistol trainer Pavel Smirnov is going to be the sole teachers remaining Indian shooters for the whole length of Tokyo Olympics, together with all the others serving the group in turns according to a judgment necessitated from the Covid-19 pandemic.

Following the coaching stint at Zagreb, the Indian shooters will soon be participate in the ISSF World Cup (June 22 to July 3) at Osijek before flying straight to Tokyo to the Olympics.
Even the 13 Olympic-bound Indian shooters, seven trainers, five physios plus a two-member video team landed in Zagreb at a chartered flight on May 11.
