New Delhi: K Madhavan, Country Manager & President – The Walt Disney Company India and Star India, have been re-elected as President of Broadcasting India and Digital Foundation (IBDF).
This is the second consecutive term for Madhavan, which was re-elected on Friday at the 22 Annual General Meeting (GMS) from the body, said a statement.
“We are at an interesting intersection where the combination of consumer trends, regulations and technology renovation of media landscapes and ecosystems.” I hope to continue working with the government, industry and other stakeholders to accelerate the growth of the broadcast and digital media sector.
In the country, “Madhavan said Vempati was also elected as Vice President of IDBF, who was previously known as an Indian broadcasting foundation.
IDBF members provide channels and programs provide around 90 percent of television viewers and nearly 48 percent of OTT’s market share in India.
